SCULPTURE

In many ways, statues are ideal models.  Purposefully beautiful and existentially nude, they come loaded with meaning and are usually well illuminated by the museums which house them.

I think of them as magnificent gifts from artists who pre-dated photography, and whom I thank and revere with my camera – for the vitality imbued within the fragment as much as the whole.

All photographs above, with the exception of “Satyr’s Touch”, are toned black-and-white, archival silver gelatin prints, available in limited editions of 17, in dimensions of 8”x10” and 11”x14”.  Satyr’s Touch”, a color digital “light jet” print, is also available in limited editions of 17, in dimensions of 8”x10” and 11”x14”.
Prices provided upon request.
